1. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is issued by Wanda Gallery Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). It governs the data practices for our mobile application, GPS Camera with Time Stamp (the "App"), and all related services (the "Services").

About GPS Camera with Time Stamp: GPS Camera with Time Stamp is a camera and mapping application that helps users record where and when a photo or video was taken. The application provides features including but not limited to a Camera for capturing photos and recording videos with a GPS, address and time stamp, customizable stamp Templates, a Gallery for viewing captured media, a Map view showing where your photos were taken, Earth View, Satellite and Street View imagery, Compass, Place Search, Route Planning, Local Weather, and daily reminders. The following Privacy Policy sets out how your data is handled in connection with this service.

This Policy is a legally binding agreement. By downloading, installing, or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the data practices described herein. If you do not agree with this Policy, you must not use the Services. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the Data Controller of your Personal Data.

2. OUR PRIVACY COMMITMENT

Our approach to privacy is founded on the following core principles:

2.1. Transparency: We are committed to being open and clear about how we handle your data, including your location and the role of our third-party map and service partners.

2.2. Purpose Limitation: We will only collect and process your data for the specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes articulated in this Policy.

2.3. Data Minimization: We adhere to the principle of collecting only the data that is strictly necessary to provide and improve our services. The App does not require you to create an account, and does not ask for your name, date of birth, or contacts.

2.4. Security by Design: We integrate technical and organisational security measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your Personal Data, as described in Section 14.

2.5. Your Media Stays on Your Device: The photos, videos and audio you capture, and the GPS stamp and location metadata embedded in them, are created and stored locally on your device. We do not upload your media to our servers, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. DATA WE COLLECT AND PROCESS

3.1. Photos, Videos and Audio (Processed On-Device): The photos you take, the videos you record, and the audio captured by the microphone while you record a video. The GPS coordinates, address, date and time stamped onto your media, and the stamp Template you choose, are applied on your device. Your media is saved to your device storage and is not transmitted to us or to our partners.

3.2. Media Location Metadata (Processed On-Device): To show where your photos were taken on the Map, the App reads the location metadata (EXIF) stored in photos on your device. This metadata is read on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

3.3. Device Location: When you use the Camera, Map, Earth View, Street View, Compass, Place Search, Route Planning or Local Weather features, the App accesses the precise or approximate location of your device while the App is in use. The App does not access your location in the background. How your location is used by our map and service providers is explained in Section 4.

3.4. Search and Route Queries: The place names and addresses you search for and the start and destination points of routes you plan. These queries are sent to our map service provider to return the result you requested, as described in Section 4.

3.5. Technical and Usage Data (Collected Automatically for Service Operation and Advertising): To ensure our App functions correctly, to resolve technical issues, and to support our advertising-based model, we automatically collect certain technical data.

3.6. Device and Network Information: Your IP address, device manufacturer and model, operating system version, App version, screen dimensions, time zone, network state (e.g., Internet and Wi-Fi status), and system language.

3.7. Application and Advertising Identifiers: Your device's advertising identifier (e.g., Google Advertising ID on Android), unique device identifiers, and install attribution data provided by the application marketplace from which you installed the App, such as the install referrer string from Google Play, Samsung Galaxy Store or Huawei AppGallery, which we and our attribution partners use to determine which campaign led to your installation.

3.8. Usage and Interaction Data: Information about your interactions with the Services, such as app launches, features used, time spent on screens, and clicks, collected in aggregated form where possible. This also includes information about your interaction with advertisements shown to you.

3.9. Crash and Diagnostic Data: If the App crashes or encounters an error, crash logs and related diagnostic information (such as stack traces and device state at the time of the crash) are collected to help us fix the issue.

3.10. Purchase Data: If you buy premium features or a subscription, Google Play processes your payment. We receive a purchase token, product identifier, transaction date and subscription status in order to unlock the features you purchased. We do not receive your payment card details.

3.11. Push Notification Data: If you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging assigns your installation a registration token so that we can deliver notifications to your device, such as feature updates and tips. This token is not linked to your name or email address, and you can stop its use at any time by turning off notifications for the App in your device settings.

3.12. Communications Data (Voluntarily Provided): When you voluntarily contact us for customer support or send feedback by email, we collect your email address and the content of your communications. This data is used exclusively to respond to your inquiries.

4. LOCATION DATA AND MAP SERVICES

Location is central to this App, so we explain separately how it is handled.

4.1. Stamping Your Media: The location written onto your photos and videos is obtained from your device and applied on your device. It becomes part of the media file you save, and it leaves your device only if you choose to share that file.

4.2. Map, Imagery, Weather and Search Features: To display maps, satellite, Earth View and Street View imagery, to convert coordinates into an address, to find places, to plan routes and to show local weather, the App sends the relevant coordinates or query, together with your IP address as with any internet request, to the provider of that feature. For map, imagery, geocoding, place search and routing features, this provider is Google through the Google Maps Platform, whose processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Local weather and online video content are provided by third-party content providers, which receive only the coordinates or request needed to return the content you asked for.

4.3. No Location Profile: We do not use your location to build a profile of your movements, we do not keep a history of your location on our own servers, and we do not sell your location. Your location is not used for advertising by us. Advertising partners may infer an approximate location from your IP address under their own policies, as described in Section 6.

4.4. Your Control: You can grant precise location, approximate location or no location at all. If you refuse location access, the Camera continues to work without a location stamp, and the map-based features will be limited.

5. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES FOR DATA PROCESSING

We only process your Personal Data when we have a valid legal basis for doing so under applicable data protection laws like the GDPR.

6. THIRD PARTY SERVICES AND PARTNERS SDKS

We integrate third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) and libraries to provide and maintain the full functionality of our Services, including maps, analytics, advertising, attribution and purchases. These partners may collect data directly from your device and, other than service providers acting on our instructions, typically act as independent "Data Controllers." We strongly encourage you to review their privacy policies to understand their data practices.

6.4. Libraries That Do Not Collect Personal Data: The App also uses the following technical libraries, which run within the App and do not collect or transmit personal data to their developers:

We may add or replace advertising mediation partners over time; the current list is maintained in this Policy and updated when it changes.

7. APPLICATION PERMISSIONS AND THEIR PURPOSES

Our App requests only the permissions necessary to provide its features. You are in complete control of the permissions that require your approval and can manage them at any time through your device's settings menu. This section explains exactly which permissions the App may request and why we need them.

The App does not access location in the background.
android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION	Allows the App to access your approximate location while the App is in use when precise location is unavailable or when you choose approximate location, supporting the location-based camera and map features.
android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE	Used only on Android 12 and below, to access the photos and videos stored on your device for the Gallery, GPS stamp and media viewing features.
android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE	Used only on Android 10 and below, to save the photos and videos you capture with the App to your device storage.
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS	Used on Android 13 and above to send you notifications, such as daily reminders, lock-screen notifications, re-engagement reminders, and push notifications about feature updates and tips. This permission is optional.
android.permission.ACCESS_MEDIA_LOCATION	Used on Android 10 and above to read the location metadata (EXIF) stored in your photos, so that the places where your photos were taken can be shown on the Map.
android.permission.INTERNET	Allows the App to access online services, including maps, satellite and Street View imagery, weather, place search, online video content, legal pages, ads, analytics, attribution and purchase services.
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE	Allows the App to check whether your device is connected to the Internet before loading maps, online content or advertisements.
android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE	Allows the App and our advertising partner (AppLovin) to detect your Wi-Fi connection status, to optimize ad loading and delivery based on network conditions, and to support ad performance measurement and fraud prevention.
android.permission.USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT	Allows certain time-sensitive notifications to be shown in full-screen format. On Android 14 and above this permission is only used if you grant it in your device settings; if it is not granted, the notification is shown as a standard notification.
android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED	Allows the App to restore your scheduled reminder notifications after your device restarts, so they continue to arrive on time without reopening the App.
android.permission.SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM	Allows the App to schedule daily reminder notifications at an exact time. If this permission is not granted, reminders are delivered at an approximate time.
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID	Used to access your device's unique, user-resettable advertising identifier. This helps our partners show you ads that are more likely to be relevant to you and measure ad performance.
android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID	Allows the App to access the advertising identifier provided by the Android Privacy Sandbox on supported Android versions, for advertising purposes.
android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION	Allows the App to use the Android Privacy Sandbox Attribution Reporting API to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS	Allows the App to use the Android Privacy Sandbox Topics API for interest-based advertising designed to preserve your privacy.
android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_CUSTOM_AUDIENCE	Allows the Meta (Facebook) SDK to support custom audience and remarketing advertising through the Android Privacy Sandbox Protected Audience API.
com.android.vending.BILLING	Allows the App to use Google Play Billing to process in-app purchases, such as premium features or subscriptions purchased through the Google Play Store.
com.android.vending.CHECK_LICENSE	Declared by our advertising SDK (AppLovin) to verify that the App was installed legitimately through Google Play. It is not used by us to access or collect your personal data.
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK	Allows the App and the SDKs it includes to keep the device's processor awake for a short time while a lock-screen notification or a background task is being completed, preventing interruption during processing.
android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE	Allows short-running tasks that support the App's core features to finish reliably without being interrupted by the system.
com.google.android.c2dm.permission.RECEIVE	Enables the App to receive push notifications delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
com.google.android.finsky.permission.BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE	Allows our analytics and attribution partners, such as Firebase Analytics, Adjust and AppsFlyer, to read install referrer information from the Google Play Store, to measure install source and campaign performance.
com.samsung.android.mapsagent.permission.READ_APP_INFO	Allows the App to read install referrer information on Samsung devices, to identify which marketing campaign led to the installation, for advertising measurement and attribution purposes only.
com.huawei.appmarket.service.commondata.permission.GET_COMMON_DATA	Allows our attribution partner (AppsFlyer) to read install referrer information from Huawei AppGallery, to identify which marketing campaign led to the installation, for advertising measurement and attribution purposes only.
com.geotag.camera.location.mapgps.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION	Default app permission to ensure secure communication within the App's components. It is not used to access personal data.

Install referrer information obtained through the three attribution permissions above is limited to campaign and install source data. It is described in Section 3.7 and is not used to identify you by name.

8. THIRD-PARTY ADVERTISING

8.1. The App is free to use and is supported by advertising served by the partners listed in Section 6.3. We require our advertising partners to comply with applicable advertising standards and we apply the content controls available to us through their platforms.

8.2. We do not create, and we do not control, the content of third-party advertisements, the accuracy of claims made in them, the websites or app store pages that an advertisement opens, or any software offered through an advertisement. Your interaction with an advertiser is solely between you and that advertiser.

8.3. We recommend that you only install apps from trusted sources such as the Google Play Store, and that you exercise caution before providing information to, or installing software from, a website opened through an advertisement.

9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

We operate globally, and your Personal Data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence, where our third-party partners operate. We ensure that all such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws by using legally-recognized transfer mechanisms like Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other safeguards required by the law of your country of residence, and by assessing the protection available in the destination country before the transfer takes place.

10. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES

You have rights concerning your Personal Data, subject to limitations provided by law.

10.1. Opt-Out of Personalized Advertising: You can limit ad tracking by resetting or deleting your device's advertising identifier through your device settings (e.g., on Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads). Where our consent management platform is shown to you, you can also change your advertising consent choices from within the App at any time. This will limit, but not eliminate, the ads you see.

10.2. Device Permissions: You can withdraw camera, microphone, location, storage and media location access at any time in your device settings. The affected feature will stop working or will work in a limited way, but the rest of the App will continue to function.

10.3. Notifications and Reminders: You can turn off notifications, full-screen notifications and exact reminders at any time in your device settings.

10.4. Background Data: You can restrict the App's background data use at any time in your device settings.

10.5. Deleting Your Content: Because your photos, videos, templates and settings are stored only on your device, you can delete them at any time through your device gallery, by clearing the App's data, or by uninstalling the App. Media you have saved to your device gallery remains on your device after you uninstall the App until you delete it.

10.6. Formal Rights Requests: Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to Access, Rectify, or Erase the Personal Data we hold about you, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, or to withdraw consent you have given. Because we do not store your media or your location on our own systems, erasure requests to us will primarily apply to Technical Data and Communications Data associated with you. To exercise any of your rights, please submit a formal request to the email address provided in Section 16.

11. DATA RETENTION

11.1. Your photos, videos, audio, media location metadata and device location are not retained on our own systems. Coordinates and queries sent to our map and service providers under Section 4 are processed to return the result you requested and are retained by those providers in accordance with their own privacy policies, linked in Section 6.

11.2. Technical and Usage Data is collected and stored by our analytics and advertising partners acting on our behalf or as independent controllers. Where we control the retention period, that data is retained for up to 24 months from the date of collection, or until it is no longer necessary for the purposes described in Section 5, whichever is earlier. Retention by independent controllers is governed by their own privacy policies, linked in Section 6.

11.3. Purchase Data is retained for as long as your purchase or subscription is active and thereafter for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law.

11.4. We retain Communications Data (the content of your support inquiries and correspondence with us) for up to 24 months following the resolution of your inquiry, to allow us to handle any follow-up questions or complaints.

11.5. Advertising identifiers and push notification tokens are controlled directly through your device's operating system settings; we do not separately retain them beyond your active use of the Services.

11.6. Notwithstanding the periods above, we may retain data for a longer period where required to comply with a legal obligation, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements, and we will securely delete or anonymize data once it is no longer needed for these purposes.

12. JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC PROVISIONS

We apply the data protection law of the country or state in which you reside.

12.1. For Residents of the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Switzerland (under GDPR): You have the rights detailed in Section 10, as well as the right to data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The legal bases we rely on are detailed in the table in Section 5. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

12.2. For Residents of California and Other U.S. States with Consumer Privacy Laws (including CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt-out of the "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our use of third-party advertising SDKs may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising." You can exercise your right to opt-out at any time by changing your advertising consent choices in the App where our consent management platform is available to you, or by contacting us at the address in Section 16, and we will action your request. You may additionally reset or delete your device advertising identifier as described in Section 10.1. Precise geolocation is used only to provide the features you request and is not used to infer characteristics about you. We do not "sell" your data for monetary consideration. We retain personal information for the periods described in Section 11.

12.3. For Residents of India (under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023): You have the right to access information about your personal data, to request correction and erasure, to withdraw consent, to nominate another person to exercise your rights, and to have your grievances addressed. You may contact us using the details in Section 16 for any such request or grievance.

12.4. For Users in Other Jurisdictions: Depending on the data protection laws that apply to you (including, among others, Vietnam's Law on Personal Data Protection, Brazil's LGPD, Canada's PIPEDA, South Korea's PIPA, Australia's Privacy Act, and the personal data protection laws of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain), you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your Personal Data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 16, and we will respond in accordance with the law that applies to you.

13. STRICT COMPLIANCE WITH COPPA & CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

13.1. Not Directed at Children: The GPS Camera with Time Stamp App and all related Services are strictly intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions such as the EEA/UK, or such other minimum age as required by the law of your country of residence).

13.2. No Collection from Minors: We rigorously comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent global regulations. We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or maintain personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.

13.3. Enforcement and Deletion: If we become aware that a child has provided us with Personal Data, we will take steps to delete such information immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us immediately.

14. DATA SECURITY

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption of data in transit, restricted access to systems, and periodic review of our third-party partners. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal data breach is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the competent supervisory authority and, where required, affected users, in accordance with applicable law.

15. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available in the App and on our Google Play Store listing. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the App or by other means to allow you to review the changes before they become effective. Your continued use of the Services after a revision becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
